Milano-Taranto 2011, an amazing experience. In the early days (1937-1957) driven as a 1-day race for reliability of motorcycles, today it is a rally which takes you from Milan Idroscalo in the north of Italy, through the incredible Italian landscape, over fantastic roads, along dozens of stops with delicious food and drinks in the most idyllic cities, to Taranto in the heel of Italy. Averaging about 250 – 300 km of curvy roads for six days, this is on of the best experiences for any motorcyclist with an (interest for) old bikes. I worked my ass off for over a year on this video, and even though it didn’t come out exactly how I imagined it, I’m still very proud of it. I’ve changed a lot as a rider and a person over the making of this video and I wouldn’t be the person that I am without my scooter. I had a lot of fun making this video and I hope you enjoy watching it. I’d like to thank Tyler Wheeland for filming 99% of this video and for being a homie.
